# Kylie Minogue's Intimate And Live: A 1998 Concert Tour Extravaganza

In 1998, Australian recording sensation Kylie Minogue embarked on her fifth concert tour, Intimate And Live, in support of her sixth studio album, *Impossible Princess* (1997).

After her creative directors, William Baker and Steve Anderson, pitched the idea, Minogue gave the green light. Despite their inexperience in touring, once Minogue left Deconstruction Records and Sony BMG, Baker and Anderson took on the roles of directing and promoting the tour.

## Set List and Show Structure
The set list mainly featured songs from the supporting studio album. Rehearsals kicked off in January 1998. The shows were split into four captivating parts:
- **Impossible Princess:** Minogue emerged inside a multi-colored cone.
- **Showgirl:** Inspired by showgirl props and costumes.
- **Cowgirl:** Incorporated cowboy-influenced props and a K symbol.
- **Encore:** A thrilling performance of “Better the Devil You Know”.

## Critical Acclaim and Commercial Triumph
The tour received rave reviews from music critics and was a commercial hit. As soon as the tour dates and venues were announced, tickets sold out, leading organizers to add more shows.
