## The Artist's Evolution
MIZU, formerly known as Issei Herr when releasing Distant Intervals, was once part of a more conventional world as a Juilliard-trained cellist. But now, she's stretching the boundaries of gender and genre, becoming increasingly experimental in sound and presentation.

## The Album's Mysterious Allure
The titles like “The Way to Yonder” and “Realms of Possibility” hint at forward movement, even if “yonder” remains a mystery. “Enter” sets the journey in motion with a winding, creaking sound like an ancient forest clock. The cello joins in, starting softly and growing confident, with a subtle pulse beneath.

In “Pump,” the forest comes alive with footsteps, birds, and flowing water. MIZU creates a magical atmosphere, adding a hint of voice mid-piece, like a bedtime story whispered in a half-asleep state. By the end, it's unclear if she's leaving or going deeper into the forest, but change is on the horizon.

“Rinse” is a dark glade where drones spread like dusk shadows. When they retract, piano and cello, representing night creatures, enter to forage. It smoothly transitions into “Pavane,” where electronic beats make the creatures bold, frolicking like Sendak beasts. MIZU defies the traditional slow, stately pavane definition, closing the track with a dark stomp and a rush of wings.

## The Album's Transformation
The back half of the album is filled with beats, taking it to a different place from the start. Concrete Husband adds thick, abstract electronics to “prphtbrd,” while “The Way to Yonder” and “Realm of Possibility” have steady, throbbing beats.

This leaves us with profound questions: How much change are we ready to accept in others? And are we brave enough to change ourselves?
