## Intriguing Plot
What lies within the love of the gypsy Carmen? Is it freedom and joy or humiliation and death? In the opera's plot, Carmen, a tobacco factory worker, gets involved in a knife fight with another worker. She's arrested but captivates soldier José and flees.
