Heaven and Earth is the most comprehensive boxed set in the King Crimson series so far. Spanning over a decade of the band's rich history, it offers the most complete look at the ProjeKcts series.

This set includes concerts by P1 – 4, the sole studio recording of P2, along with a vast selection of ProjeKct albums and related recordings.

Back in 1997, at the end of the THRAK-era, when the Double Trio lineup of Fripp, Belew, Levin, Mastelotto, Bruford, and Gunn wanted to create new material, they split into smaller groups. Fripp named this process "fraKctalisation".

The ProjeKcts, as these smaller groups were called, often performed in small clubs rather than large venues while testing their ideas in front of audiences. Consequently, this highly creative endeavor was largely unnoticed by the general public. In a sense, the ProjeKcts are 'The Unknown King Crimson'.
