# The Who’s Epic Live at Shea Stadium: A 1982 Rock Concert Film Finally Unveiled in 2015

In 1982, The Who embarked on a tour mainly across North America, with just two warm-up dates at Birmingham NEC in England. This was the last tour featuring Kenney Jones on drums, and they wouldn't hit the road again until 1989. The tour was in support of their “It’s Hard” album, released in June 1982. The set list boasted several tracks from this album, some played live only on this tour.

The concert film showcases the second night of their two-night stint at New York’s Shea Stadium, filmed on October 13th, 1982. While a few tracks have appeared on compilations, this is the first official full-show release, featuring restored footage and newly mixed sound.
