# Marillion's 'Script for a Jester’s Tear': A Deluxe Edition Revival

Back in March 1983, Marillion unleashed 'Script for a Jester’s Tear'. In their home country, the U.K., it achieved platinum status, hitting number seven on the Albums Chart and birthing two Top 40 singles: “He Knows You Know” (#35) and “Garden Party” (#16).

Now, the Deluxe 4CD/1 Blu-ray Edition is here to amaze. Kicking things off is a newly remixed stereo version of 'Script for a Jester’s Tear' by Andy Bradfield and Avril Mackintosh.

This collection doesn't stop there. It also showcases new stereo remixes for the January 1982 b-side “Charting The Single” and the Market Square Heroes EP from October of the same year.

The Blu-ray is a treasure trove. It features 96k/24-bit versions of the new stereo remixes for 'Script for a Jester’s Tear' and the Market Square Heroes EP, plus the Live at the Marquee Club concert. There's also a 5.1 Surround Remix of 'Script for a Jester’s Tear'.

To top it all off, a new documentary with band interviews is included. It traces Marillion's 1979 formation in Aylesbury up to the 1983 release of 'Script for a Jester’s Tear'.
