## The Making of an Iconic Film
In 2009, Palm Pictures released 'Stop Making Sense' in Blu-ray format, available in multichannel, stereo, and remastered versions across the UK and Europe. Directed by Jonathan Demme, this film captures Talking Heads on their 'Speaking in Tongues' tour in support of the album of the same name. Recorded over three nights in December 1983 at Hollywood's Pantages Theater, it all started when Demme attended their amazing theatrical concert at the Greek Theater a month earlier and decided to film the band. It was a fortunate choice as it became their final tour before splitting in 1991.

## The Enchanting Performances
- **The Opening Act:** The film opens with titles by Pablo Ferro, known for 'Dr. Strangelove'. David Byrne takes the empty stage alone, playing 'Psycho Killer' on acoustic guitar with a boom box providing rhythm. Towards the end, wild beats and Byrne's staggering add to the charm.

Throughout, Byrne's theatrical flair shines, from projected words during 'Making Flippy Floppy' to dancing with a lamp in 'This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody)' and his iconic moves in 'Once in A Lifetime'.
- **Interlude and More Hits:** During a break, Frantz introduces the remaining members as Tom Tom Club, performing their hit 'Genius Of Love'. Byrne returns in his large suit for 'Girlfriend is Better', 'Take Me To The River', and closes with 'Crosseyed and Painless', finally showing the enthusiastic audience.
