## The Recording Story
In the summer of 2010, AIX Records was on an exciting mission. They used prototype Panasonic 3D video cameras to record 7 new projects. *Goldberg Variations Acoustica* was the first to make it through post-production. On August 3, 2010, it was released as the world’s first 3D Music Album™.

## What Sets It Apart
Unlike most Blu-ray titles that are live concert discs, this one has HD-Video of the entire session but is a single take improvisation based on J.S. Bach's Baroque masterpiece. Bach, by the way, is the favorite composer here.

The AIX All Star Band has done three prior “acoustica” projects with us, each with its own charm. This particular project has earned the title of the “world’s best sounding Blu-ray” disc. The ensemble's sound quality and music-making have won numerous accolades.
