Regina Spektor's second live album, *Live on Soundstage*, was recorded in July 2016 at WTTW's 400-seat studio in Chicago for the PBS music series. Premiering on PBS stations in October, it came after the September release of her seventh studio LP, *Remember Us to Life*.

This live set leans heavily on *Remember Us to Life*, featuring almost its entire tracklist. With a piano and a 12-piece band/chamber orchestra, it showcases her first record with a full orchestra on select songs. Standout moments include the lively orchestral hip-hop of “Small Bill$,” the dramatic “Seller of Flowers,” and the charming restart of 2002's “Samson.”

Also included are crowd-pleasers like “You’ve Got the Time” (theme for *Orange Is the New Black*) and “New Year” (bonus track on *Remember Us to Life*). Fans of *Live in London* (2010) won't find much overlap, with only five favorites from that album among the 18 songs here, including “Fidelity” and opener “On the Radio.”
