Riot, an American hard rock/heavy metal band, was founded by guitarist Mark Reale in 1975. Their debut album “Rock City” (1979) found great appreciation in the UK during the NWOBHM explosion and was also warmly embraced in Japan. The 7″EP “Warrior” in Japan has remained a fan favorite for 40 years. Their bond with Japan strengthened with the album “Narita”, named after the struggle against the New Tokyo International Airport construction.
