# Eric Clapton's 'Nothing But The Blues': A 4K Upgrade and Unreleased Live Performances
## 1995 Documentary Gets a Stunning Makeover
Eric Clapton's lifelong love affair with the blues takes center stage in 'Nothing But The Blues'. This 1995 documentary, which was once broadcast on PBS in the US and nominated for an Emmy®, has been given a spectacular 4K upgrade for its long-awaited official release in 2022.
## New Soundtrack with Unreleased Gems
Reprise is not only releasing the upgraded film but also a brand-new soundtrack. It features over an hour of previously unreleased live performances from 1994, during Clapton's tour in support of his Grammy®-winning, multi-platinum blues album 'From The Cradle'.
## Documentary Details
Written and produced by Scooter Weintraub and executive produced by Martin Scorsese, the documentary includes an in-depth interview with Clapton by Scorsese. Here, Clapton shares his deep love for the blues and the impact of greats like Muddy Waters and B.B. King. Vintage performances, interviews, and photos of artists like Robert Johnson, Howlin’ Wolf, Buddy Guy, and T-Bone Walker also grace the film.
## Performances and Tracklist
At its core, the film and audio formats showcase Clapton's renditions of blues standards and lesser-known tracks. The CD has 17 songs, the double LP 18, and the DVD and Blu-ray each contain 20 songs. Recorded during his 'From The Cradle' tour at the Fillmore in San Francisco in 1994, highlights from two nights (Nov 8 and 9) are included. Simon Climie has remixed the audio from the original multi-tracking recordings.
