# UMphrey’s McGee and STS9 Ignite Georgia: A Musical Extravaganza
## UMphrey’s McGee Returns to Georgia
Umphrey’s McGee made a triumphant return to Georgia, playing their first show in the state since their blazing New Year’s Eve run at Atlanta’s Tabernacle. The band was clearly eager to rock the Peach State once again. They unleashed a massive setlist featuring timeless classics like “Miss Tinkle’s Overture” and “Puppet String.” Among the highlights was the southern rock gem “Women Wine and Song,” which had the entire crowd singing along and quickly became a fan favorite.
## STS9 Takes the Stage
On that beautiful Saturday in Georgia, STS9 stormed the stage and catapulted the energy to a whole new level. As night descended on Encore Park, lighting designer Saxton Waller worked his magic, filling the venue with a stunning lighting rig that illuminated the audience. STS9 kicked off with a bang, starting their set with “Kabuki” and “Monkey Music,” sending the energy through the roof.
## A Memorable Collaboration
STS9 continued to rock the crowd, and things got even more exciting when UM members Jake, Stasik, and Bayliss joined them on stage for a classic cover of Blondie’s “Heart of Glass.” The setlist also featured the beautiful “Breathe In” at the perfect moment. The night ended with a huge encore of “This, Us” and “Golden Gate,” leaving fans raving about the “mind-expanding musical enjoyment” of the STS9/Umphreys 2013 Summer Tour.
