"From The Vault" is a brand-new series of live concerts from The Rolling Stones' archive, with "Hampton Coliseum – Live In 1981" leading the pack. The 1981 American Tour was the year's most successful, raking in a record $50 million in ticket sales, all in support of the hit "Tattoo You" album. Spanning 50 dates from late September in Philadelphia to December 18th and 19th in Hampton, Virginia, this tour was epic.

The December 18th show, coincidentally Keith Richards’ birthday, made history as the first music concert to air on TV as a pay-per-view event. Now, the footage has been meticulously restored, and the sound newly mixed by Bob Clearmountain for this official release.
