On August 19th, 2005, the eve of Phil Lynott's 56th birthday, his mother unveiled a statue of him in Dublin’s Grafton Street. Members of Thin Lizzy from different eras witnessed this moment. That same evening, under Gary Moore's leadership, they united for a concert in honor of Lynott.

The core band featuring Moore, Jethro Tull bassist Jonathan Noyce, and Thin Lizzy's drummer Brian Downey was joined by guitar greats Brian Robertson, Scott Gorham, and Eric Bell. Together, they played a set of Thin Lizzy and Gary Moore classics.
