In 2013, “The Language of the Unknown” delved into the world of one of Jazz's last living saxophone legends, Wayne Shorter. Shorter believes in reinventing his music with radical originality at every concert.

After his remarkable work with Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers, the Second Miles Davis Quintet, and Weather Report, in 2000, he formed the Wayne Shorter Quartet. This group offers him the freedom to reshape his music constantly. He views celebrated soloists Brian Blade, John Patitucci, and Danilo Pérez not as side musicians but as equal parts of an entity. Their unique approach, ‘Zero Gravity’, is an original musical state they recreate during interactions, serving as the foundation for exploring new musical frontiers.
