## The Historic Event
On 6th December 1983, Asia's second show at Tokyo's historic Budokan arena made history. It was the first live broadcast between Japan and MTV in America, an incredible feat for that era. This performance was previously only available on VHS.

Despite a limited time to learn the songs and some arrangement changes to suit his vocal range, the Japanese shows were a huge success. Carl Palmer praised Greg Lake, saying, "Greg Lake did a great job jumping into John’s shoes. So many songs to sing, he did it so well. It was impressive." Geoff Downes was also pleased, calling it a "grand and sumptuous affair". Steve Howe emphasized the importance of Greg's help.
