## Album Significance
This is the second release in the XTC Surround series. The 1979 classic third album was a breakthrough for the band. It had their first UK hit single “Making Plans for Nigel”. It also introduced the 2 - guitar line - up with Dave Gregory, alongside songwriters Andy Partridge and Colin Moulding, and drummer Terry Chambers.

## New Features
Steven Wilson created new stereo and 5.1 surround sound mixes from the original multitrack tapes. There are 11 bonus tracks in stereo and 5.1, plus the original stereo album mix, instrumental mixes, promo videos, and other high - resolution 96/24 audio bonus material. Andy Partridge, a founder band member, contributed, and the band fully approved.
